Privacy SupplementGeneral Privacy Policy
KahaLex collects nothing beyond what the general Privacy Policy already covers. It has no accounts, no contact form and no submissions. The only personal data it processes is the ordinary technical information created when a page is requested, including any term typed into the on-site search, which is handled as a technical log entry and used only for security, abuse detection and diagnosis.
No additional privacy terms apply to this service.

Nature of the Service
KahaLex is the authorised legal database of the State of the Kaharagians, administered by the Royal Chancellery. It presents the Codes, statutes, decrees and other instruments in a consolidated, indexed and searchable form.
Consolidation Is Not Authentication
A consolidated text on KahaLex shows a Code or an instrument as it stands after the amendments known to have been incorporated. Consolidation is an editorial act, not a legislative one.
The State gives no warranty that a consolidated text on KahaLex is the authentic text. Where a consolidated text differs from the instrument as published in the Royal Kaharagian Gazette, or fails to reflect an amending instrument, the authentic instrument as gazetted prevails.
Currency
A consolidated text speaks as at the date shown on it. An instrument gazetted after that date may already have amended, repealed or replaced what appears here, and there may be an interval between promulgation in the Gazette and incorporation into KahaLex. A person acting on a legal question should confirm the position against the Gazette.
Citation
For any purpose having legal effect, cite the instrument as gazetted, by issue and instrument number. A KahaLex address may be given in addition, as a convenience, but is not a citation of the authentic text.
No Legal Advice
KahaLex publishes the text of the law. It does not give legal advice, does not apply the law to any person's circumstances, and creates no advisory relationship of any kind.
Errors
A suspected transcription error, a missing amendment or a broken cross-reference should be reported to the Royal Chancellery. A report about the consolidated text is an editorial matter. It is not a challenge to the instrument itself, which can be altered only by the competent authority, and only through the Gazette.
Re-use
The texts on KahaLex are Crown Copyright, and their re-use is governed by the Crown Copyright and Re-use Policy. A person who reproduces a consolidated text must not present it as the authentic text of the instrument. Bulk extraction of the database requires the prior written permission of the Royal Chancellery.
